Beginnings and Endings. It gives me pause to think that this will be the last weekly email of my year as Club President. Reflecting on this past year, I feel that my Rotary journey has only just begun even when I find myself at the end of my term.
With the Rotary theme of the year being “Rotary Connects the World,” I feel that the goals I set at the beginning of the year to Connect within our own Club, to Connect with our Community, to Connect with other Rotary Clubs, and lastly to Connect with the World were fulfilled. Even COVID-19 could not prevent all the connection going on!
This week we have Margot Devillers from Belgium, our Rotary Foreign Exchange Student, presenting on her year with us and her perspective after living here, before she returns to home to Belgium. Please join me and your Rotary family in an afternoon of fellowship with your favorite lunch on hand. This is your last chance to ZOOM with me!
