As you know, the Rotary Club of Medford believes in investing in our youth. To provide greater support to our local youth community, we are happy to bring back our Slide into Summer FUNdraising event! Please mark your calendar for the 2024 Slide into Summer, a slip-n-slide event at Bear Creek Park on June 29th.
In 2018, we partnered with the Medford Parks to bring two fabulous slip-n-slides to the grassy knoll next to the Olsrud Family Community Playground. In years past, weβve welcomed as many as 800 children and their families to this event. This year, there are already 840+ community members engaged with the event on Facebook!
The Medford Rotary Slide into Summer event helps support low-income young people and their back-to-school essentials. The funds raised help provide weekend food packages for chronically hungry elementary school students in our community and send our youth to an intensive leadership experience where they develop skills as leaders while having fun and making connections. These are vital programs in our community!
