3 things – 1. While talking with Breann, Al and Ray today, they suggested that we send the list that is about an inch down. A prospective member asked if we had a calendar of events – so we put one together.
2. Another prospective member suggested that we send info about Rotary members in Mexico working to help storm victims in the US – that info is at the bottom. And
3. Since I am writing two days in a row – see you in the lounge at RVCC at noon or Wild River Pizza in the evening.
1. – Dolly Parton Imagination Library – this is new to our 9 clubs in Jackson County. Our main role is to encourage all parents with children under age 5 to sign up for a free book each month. Just tell them to register at www.JacksonCountyDPIL.com
2. – Power Packs – each week during the school year, usually on Friday, a few Rotarians gather at Access and pack food for ~ 465 elementary aged kids so that they have something to eat over the weekends.
3. – Food and Friends – Every Wednesday one of us takes a turn delivering meals to Seniors who can not shop for themselves. The “friends” part is that we also check to make sure that they are OK. Often F&Fs volunteers are the only person they see each day.
4. – High School scholarships. We work with school counselors to award ~ $40,000 per year to Medford high school graduates.
5. – March 28th No noon club meeting. Instead we will have 2 informal social gatherings. One at noon in the lounge at RVCC and ANYTIME 5-8PM at Wild River Pizza. This month some of us will focus on answering new member questions. We are experimenting with having evening socials on the last Tuesday of each month.
6. – April 1st, starting at 11 am – We need volunteers to help our new Interact Club at Logos School run their first ever event, ‘Hunt for a Cause’. They are partnering with Family Solutions. Let us know if you can help.

11. Currently we have two Global Projects and are working on a new one. They are: sending a medical vocational training team to Malawi, Africa and planting 12,500 trees with our new friends in Ecuador. These projects and others can always use administration assistance.
12. Speaking of administration, Rotary has opportunities for members who like helping behind the scenes.
AND we are working on helping a Ukraine family move here.
