Learn About Youth Exchange at Saturday’s Virtual Conference

A free virtual conference on Rotary Youth Exchange will be offered June 5, 2021 – 9 AM to Noon. Rotarians who want to learn more about Youth Exchange, including current issues and plans, should sign up for a FREE virtual conference on Saturday. Our own Dan Converse will be facilitating sessions on how to preserve interest and commitment to Youth Exchange during the current hiatus.

Jackson County Rotarian Mobley Honored for Community Service

Rotarian LeAnn Mobley from the Bear Creek Valley Rotary Club received Community Service accolades for herleadership of the Rogue Powerpack Program. Mobley and other volunteers helped raise funds and collect food for the program. Rogue Powerpack sends needy kids home with a backpack full of food for the weekend. The program is especially needed during COVID times for students who depend on free and reduced-price meals at school.
Mobley, a long-time Rotarian, helped coordinate the President-Elect Training program for Rotary, is active with grants training and many other Rotary service duties.
