Annual Service Project: Building Homes, Changing Lives
Rotary Club of Medford proudly collaborates with Rogue Valley Habitat for Humanity each year to build homes and create brighter futures for deserving families. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to service above self and directly impacts our local community by offering a hand-up to families in need.
2023 Dove Place Project – Houses 82 & 83
Dove Place in Rogue River, where we have already helped build four homes in previous years. This time, we are contributing to the construction of two additional homes. The project is currently in the framing stage, where our team is helping build the structural skeletons that will shape these future homes.
Once completed, these homes will be purchased by families who need them the most, creating stability and opportunity.
2024 Grandview Ave Project – Houses 84 – ??
The Habiview Subdivision is an ongoing development initiative aimed at enhancing neighborhood connectivity and expanding housing availability in Medford. The project entails constructing a new residential street traversing the currently vacant lot at 1900 Grandview Avenue, which will link Alcan Drive and Kerry Drive. This strategic road addition will improve navigation and accessibility within the neighborhood. It will also create space to construct new homes by increasing the availability of affordable housing solutions for families in the area. A core objective of the Habiview Subdivision is to provide beautiful, secure community living in Medford. Through thoughtful planning and execution, this endeavor strives to cultivate a delightful environment where families can thrive.
