Guest speakers Lynette O’Neil and Brian Watkins with Medford parking commission spoke on Medford downtown parking. Medford’s parking management plan was put into force in 2011. Lynette says it is fair plan for all. She shared that businesses downtown can purchase citation vouchers and if their customer gets a parking ticket, the customer just needs to let the merchant know and obtain the voucher. Brian spoke on behalf of parking commission. He says Medford has free parking in many locations and has been reviewing plan. One new recommendation is pay by phone. Read More

Guest speaker Tony Johnson shared info about Medford Railroad Park. The 11 acre site has been open since 1979. Admission is free. Five railroad clubs operate the park. They have 6 trains when they open gates. Best day they gave about 900 rides in one hour for a total of about 3000 for the day . Read More
