Dear Rotarian,
Tomorrow’s program for our weekly meeting is “Protecting our Food Supply and Our Planet”, presented by Allison Fiscus (Executive Director – Utah Pork Producers).
Allison will review COVID-19’s impact on the food supply chain, how farmers have been able to provide an incredible amount of protein throughout the U.S. in the middle of the biggest supply chain disruption we’ve ever seen, and how science-based advancements in agriculture technology have helped farmers reduce their carbon footprint.
Allison will be presenting remotely via Zoom. Our meeting will be held in person as usual at the Rogue Valley Country Club and will be set up as a hybrid meeting for the speaker and others to join in.
