ROTARY - TRF - Please join us in giving!
Quote from Email Blast on September 27, 2024, 2:27 pmDear Rotarian,Dear Fellow Rotarians & Friends,
As members of Rotary, we share a common purpose, to make a lasting impact in our communities and around the world. Our collective efforts have already changed countless lives, but there is always more we can do to ensure that Rotary’s legacy of service continues to flourish.
When I joined Rotary many years ago, I had the opportunity to participate in projects that others had passionately created. I then evolved into the ability to help initiate new projects, enabling others to engage in building a better world. As I have grown older, my passion for service remains strong, and I feel a deep desire to create a lasting legacy for the great work that Rotary does. Barbara and I have given thought to how we can support the dreams and passions of those who will follow in our footsteps.
I am reaching out to invite you to join us in establishing a legacy of giving through the Rotary Foundation. After reflecting on the incredible work that our Foundation supports, Barbara and I have committed to increase our contributions from our Major Donor to the Endowment Fund level, which allows part of our giving to return to our District over time. The Rotary Foundation offers several options that can help you establish your own legacy, ensuring our impact continues well into the future. Please take the time to research.
- Endowment Fund: This fund is the cornerstone of Rotary’s future, ensuring that our contributions continue to support vital projects for generations to come.
- Annual Fund Share: Donations to this fund, address immediate needs within our communities and around the world, making a direct and timely difference.
- Bequest Society: By including the Rotary Foundation in our estate plans, we can ensure that our commitment to service outlives us, continuing to support the causes we care about most.
Together, we have the power to leave a lasting legacy. Whether through a direct donation, a commitment to future giving, or spreading the word about these opportunities, every bit of support strengthens our ability to do good in the world. I encourage you to consider how you might join in this effort. If you’d like to discuss the options or learn more about how your contribution can make a difference, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s continue to build a future where Rotary’s mission of “service above self” thrives.
We are delighted to recognize any new major donation of $10,000 or more at the Rotary Million Dollar Gala – Denim to Diamonds, on November 2, 2024, in Eugene, Oregon, where RI Foundation Trustee Greg Podd will acknowledge your generous contribution. As our way of saying thank you, we are pleased to offer you complimentary tickets to the dinner gala. We look forward to having you join us as our guests!
Thank you for your dedication to Rotary and for considering this important opportunity to amplify our impact together.
Yours in Rotary Service,
