ROTARY -Exciting Opportunity to Volunteer for Kidspree - Volunteers STILL Needed!
Quote from Email Blast on August 7, 2024, 9:22 amDear Rotarian,I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to clarify that I was incorrect yesterday when I mentioned it was too late to volunteer for Kidspree. We actually need additional volunteers! As Marc Bayliss highlighted a couple of weeks ago, this is one of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities we can participate in, helping kiddos select new, comfortable, and appropriate school clothes for the coming year. I have had several families reach out to me seeking assistance, and I am SO excited that we have the opportunity to help these folks out in such a meaningful way.
If you are available to join us, we would love to have you! Here are the details:
Event Details:
- Date: Saturday, August 10th
- Time: 8 am to 10 am (ish)
- Location: JCPenney. Enter through the main mall entrance closest to JCPenney on the lower level (the creek side of the mall).
Shoppers Needed:
- If you know anyone who would like to shop at this year's event but has not completed an application, please Ian Bachtel an email: ianbachtel@gmail.com. He will be accepting applications until Thursday (8/8) afternoon as they currently have far more children than volunteer shoppers.
Mandatory Orientations:
- Dates/Times:
- Wednesday, August 7th at 6 pm
- Thursday, August 8th at 6:30 pm
- Location: JCPenney staff conference room near the beauty shop.
- If you attended tonight's orientation or the SOU orientation, feel free to disregard this note.
Additional details about the event and the orientations can be found in the attached volunteer letter. I've also included a blank volunteer application if needed.
We are looking forward to seeing you all at orientations and, more importantly, at this great event on Saturday!
Best regards,
