International Service Opportunity: Join the Ecuador Tree Planting Trip!
Quote from Breann Wright on January 3, 2025, 9:44 amOur Rotary efforts in Ecuador continue to make an incredible impact! Partnering with Rotary and Rotaractor clubs in Ecuador, we've successfully planted over 13,000 fruit and nut trees in the Amazon as part of our Global Grant initiative. This effort not only supports reforestation but also enhances the nutrition and economic well-being of local villagers.
Inspired by this success, the Medford Rogue Rotary Club has stepped up with their own District Grant to purchase an additional 2,000 trees. This year, they're planning to take it a step further by organizing a hands-on trip to Ecuador to help plant the trees—a service journey similar to the one led by Michelle last year.
