DESCRIPTION:Kathryn and Barry Thalden will discuss their planned community of affordable housing\, New Spirit Village\,  intended for Almeda fire victims and first-time home owners.  It will be an 87-unit development of homes currently priced from $188\,000 for a one-bedroom house to $260\,000 for a three-bedroom house.  It’s an innovative concept creating opportunities for wildfire recovery families and others overcoming multi-generational poverty.
