I believe that a person’s identity and sense of self is shaped by many different aspects. Family, culture, friends, personal interests, socioeconomic and environmental surroundings are all factors that shape a person’s identity. I love how each and every one of us are so unique with such diverse personalities and life stories!
This week we get to enjoy one of my favorite programs! Two of our newest members, Genie Gilliam and Lori Williams will be sharing their “WHO AM I” presentations! These are two very dynamic women that will definitely make a positive difference in our Club! Please join me and your Rotarian family in hearing Genie and Lori’s stories and get to know them on a more personal basis!
It is said that you tend to become like the people you choose to spend time with. Think of how we can make a difference in people’s lives by inviting them to Rotary and sharing our mission of providing service to others, promoting integrity, advancing world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. We can create a ripple effect that crosses the barriers of city, state, country, and continent!
Have you thought about how Rotary has made you into the person you are today? See you on Tuesday!
Yours in Rotary Service,
Michelle Corradetti, President
