Medford Rotary Relays

Eighty-seven years ago, Medford’s high school track coach, Bill Bowerman, created a unique high school invitational track meet. What makes this meet special is that all track and field events are conducted in a relay (team) format. Coach Bowerman went on to become one of the most renowned track coaches in history, sending many athletes to the Olympic Games. The meet, known as the Rotary Relays, is still going strong today.  Current track coach Pete Voiskes will talk about this year’s Rotary Relays.
