In accordance with our Rotary Bylaws, we are pleased to announce that the board has received majority approval to proceed with the first club posting of our proposed new member, Maria Marroquin-Hupe. Maria recently relocated to Southern Oregon from California and enjoys golf, hiking, and bike riding.
As per our bylaws, the proposed member’s name will be published in two successive club bulletins. If no written objection, stating the reasons, is received by the Board within ten (10) days of this first posting, Maria will be considered elected to membership upon payment of the required fees. If any objections are submitted, the Board will vote on the matter at its next meeting. Should the Board approve despite objections, Maria will still be considered elected to membership upon payment of the required fees.
