Rotary clubs across the world have come together on the last Saturday of April to do a service project in their community. Rogue Valley After Five Rotary would like to invite your clubs to join us on April 27 for a service project at The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon in Medford. This will be a very family-friendly event. It’s also a great opportunity to invite friends, colleagues, other Rotarians, and potential new members.
When: Saturday April 27, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon
413 W Main Street, Medford, OR 97501
What: Tasks will include laying mulch, pulling weeds, planting flowers, gluing sticks into stars along with a few other small projects.
Dress Code: Comfortable work clothes for the weather and yard work. Optional are water bottle and your own work gloves.
When You Arrive: We will meet in front of the museum in the preschool outdoor space. This is to the left of the entrance through the gate labeled “Ivy School”. The museum is open on Saturday, so guests will start to arrive when the museum opens at 10 AM.
Parking: Street parking is available on the surrounding streets or there is some parking in the small lot on Ivy St. There are no parking time limits on Saturdays. Please don’t park along Main St. in front of the museum. Save these spaces for museum guests.
All necessary tools, light work gloves, and Community Service Certificates will be provided.
If there are any questions please let me know. Hope to see you and your clubs there!
