On behalf of the Rotary Club of Medford, the oldest Rotary Club in Southern Oregon, we are delighted that you are interested in what we do. Along with opportunities to serve, our members benefit from networking, practicing leadership skills, and making lifelong friendships and business connections. Yes, we take having fun and helping our community and our world very seriously. This means that we have a lot to do. Therefore, we are always looking for the right residents in the Rogue Valley to join us on our mission.
The Rotary Club of Medford’s Mission is to give our time and resources to our local and global community to make a positive and lasting impact through sustainable practices, and innovative solutions and by nurturing youth and developing leaders. We aim to inspire future leaders and build a world where collaboration and mutual respect are paramount.
If you feel that you are aligned with our mission, vision, and values, we would like to get to know you! You’re invited to attend a program at our Club’s weekly meeting on Tuesdays at 12:10pm as well as to participate in our Club’s Service Opportunities. In getting to know us, we fully support your putting out your hand, engaging in conversations, and asking questions of any of our members. At the same time, we want you to know that all Rotarians are volunteers and are busy people, so if we do not get back to you in a timely fashion, we encourage you to reach out to us.
When ready, your next steps would be to fill out our New Member Application. The application is on the following pages. Turn it in via email or printed any of our Officers, or your Club Sponsor (if you don’t have one, don’t worry, we will assign you one!). Our internal review process is typically no more than three weeks long. As you await our formal response, we encourage you to remain engaged with our club.
